UIL Legislative Council
Bruceville-Eddy ISD Superintendent Richard Kilgore, in his 37th year in education, was named last week to the UIL Legislative Council. This will be his 4th term to serve on the Council. Members are elected by their peer Superintendents. He will be representing Class 2A Region III from 2023-2027. This region extends from Central Texas all the way to the Louisiana border. The UIL Legislative Council is a rule-making body composed of 32 public school administrators. The Council acts on proposed amendments in UIL Academics, Athletics, Music and Policy.
