Bruceville-Eddy ISD Superintendent Richard Kilgore, in his 37^th year in education, was named last week to the UIL Legislative Council.  This will be his 4^th term to serve on the Council.  Members are elected by their peer Superintendents. He will be representing Class 2A Region III from 2023-2027.  This region extends from Central Texas all the way to the Louisiana border.  The UIL Legislative Council is a rule-making body composed of 32 public school administrators.   The Council acts on proposed amendments in UIL Academics, Athletics, Music and Policy.
